Research and identify capabilities and opportunities for expanding use of the International Space Station (ISS) for Earth Observation.

SOLUTION
Prepared a detailed Gap Analysis report summarizing recommendations for developing and prioritizing innovative new Earth Observation missions on the ISS.
Provided a detailed overview of ISS remote sensing capabilities, including general platform characteristics and in-orbit resources, available payload locations, and overall advantages and limitations of the ISS for Earth Observation. Also identified promising sensor technologies, infrastructure improvements, onboard processing capabilities and data fusion options recommended for expanding remote sensing research, development and commercialization on the ISS.
